Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 + and Galaxy Note 9 to get Android Pie update, One

Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 + and Note 9 started getting the Android Pie update, One UI on Tuesday. The Android 9 Pie update was only received by India, South Korea and Germany users.

The latest range of Samsung Galaxy flagships, the Galaxy Note, Galaxy S9, and the Galaxy S9+ have started receiving the much awaited Android 9.0 Pie based One UI update in the Indian market. The latest update also includes the January 2019 Android security patch which comes with an entire list of changes which are a part of Samsung's own One UI.
The latest Android Pie update comes close to the heels of the rollout of the latest update which Samsung started off for the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and the Galaxy Note 9. The South Korean manufacturer also has now updated the rollout phase of the Galaxy Note 9. In regards to the latest rollout, Samsung has also started bringing the latest Android Pie rollout for the Galaxy S9 models and the Galaxy Note 9 in South Korea, alongside simultaneously rolling out in South Korea.

The Android Pie update with One UI for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ in India is the software version G960FOXM2CRLO. The South Korean version of the update, however, carries the software version G96xNKSU1CRLL or G96xNKSU1CRLN - depending on the network.

For the Indian market, the Android Pie update based on One UI for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 brings the software version N960FXXU2CSA2. For Galaxy Note 9 users in South Korea, the update software version is N960NKSU2CSA1.

For users who are already a part of the One UI beta program, they will be receiving the Android Pie update for their Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 models which have a size of around 150mb, whereas the entire update package for users currently using the Android Oreo, the update package is around 1.6GB
