I wish Samsung update old phones too not os update but samsung can send small update like new icons and new design. 
I wish Samsung focus on that and let him love his customers old Samsung cells too

you can use third party home screen apps if you want to see new icons

check out themes and icon packs in galaxy themes, some of the free ones are really neat

Get a custom launcher like Nova, add an icon pack and you'll have a different phone automatically.

I have nova launcher but its doesn't feel like official Samsung launcher, I know there is many way to change icons but I'm talking about whole design like new Pie system wise ..
