Ten months on since purchasing a Samsung S21+...and still no Galaxy earbuds and tag promised in the promotion. I cannot even begin to describe how many emails and phone calls I've made regarding this promotion. How does a company get away with such unethical business practices? You sold me a device under misleading circumstances...how can Samsung not be held accountable? And to make matters worse, I've seen so many more of these complaints after I realized the issues I was having. So how many more people are being scammed into buying Samsung products!?

I'm in the exact same situation, I hear you. I've tried all the existing channels with no luck, even the top brass of Samsung's SA offices. They didn't even reply.

I've been posting several times on this forum about the poor quality/lack of service people are receiving when they pay a lot of money for items and expect a return as is promised by the marketing campaigns. People are still complaining (vehemently so) and some are angry as they have run out of patience as a result of no feedback. 


Here's a suggestion: All the outstanding voucher numbers that haven't been fulfilled should be published on this Member's App, with progress dates and some sort of commitment timing as to when people can receive what is due to them. 


There must be accountability with the people who dream up these marketing strategies to entice people to part them from their hard earned money. Put up a list and make commitments when people can expect their items. Voucher No and dates!! Is that so difficult to do. Listen to the Voice of the Customer.

Good evening members. I see there are many disgruntled loyal Samsung customers venting their anger over the misguided Promotional activities underwritten my this members App. I posted in November last year and again in January this year and quoted the number dissatisfaction posts made by people who feel they've been lied to. 


These moderators that hide in shadows know **bleep** well how to fix these Promotional **bleep** ups. They are not proactive in assisting people on a direct basis, all they can offer is a soft reset or go to your nearest dealer. Absolute rubbish and non-value adding. I stand corrected but Samsung have outsourced this Promotional activity to 3rd party providers and therein lies the dysfunctional coordination of getting gifts to people who have forked out big money for their smartphone. Maps , the Moderator and his people need to raise their game and do some real bona-fide customer liaison. Get your s----T together and help these people in order to regain their trust. Do it.

Thanks so much for your reply... I'm really at a loss of words for how pathetic the service has been wrt the promotions. The only other step I can think of is going to the Ombudsman, although I have no idea how to start that process. But, I'll be willing to give that a shot at least on principle of unethical business practice from Samsung. Let's hope it can be resolved. Please keep me updated.

20 emails later , still nothing. Perhaps you can find out what is going on. Hope you can assist. That code should be traceable.

Please advise if you had processed the claim during the promotional period on the Samsung Members App from the Galaxy S21?

Hi Tsogo,
I purchased two S21 5G handsets in March (MTN contracts). At that time the promo was a 1000-00 gift voucher which I redeemed hence the code you saw yesterday. After 20 emails to "tellus " and the Za store, cpgs and Samsung @Altron all I get told is that they're investigating or I'm not eligible.

When I redeemed it I requested the sanitizer article because it was just under 1000-00. It was well within the window period. They have copies of the 2 contracts, proof of both IMEI Numbers per phone.

I even tried the Samsung Electronics international complaint desk, nothing, no reply. All I can do is moan and complain on the members app with all the other disgruntled members.

If you have an email address I can forward you all the emails I sent. Hope you can make a difference. Regards.
