Galaxy s24 Ultra / Trade in Old phone Question

Howsit everyone

I have question to ask here, has anyone traded in there old phone before to a cellphone retailer, whether it's Telkom /MTN /Vodacom, how does it truly impact your new contract 

Because I done a an evaluation for my S22 Ultra on Samsung website and they want to offer a trade in of R5700 FOR THE PHONE IS THIS PPL INSANE! 

Anywho if anyone done this kindly advise what the process was like and how much of a discount you really get on the next purchase or contract

You better off selling to the second hand market. Not sure where you are based but try proper stores like techmarkit.

They evaluated my brand new tab from last year for R2 500🤣🤣.

Unfortunately, Samsung SA's trade-ins have not caught up to the likes of what other countries may offer...

I mean we can't trade in our buds here.

Is your contract due for upgrade? If not it will be more like an early upgrade where you will be paying more or less two devices. Rather wait for upgrade and ditch Samsung totally.

The trade in is a guaranteed R10000. This is based on the condition of the phone being traded in i.e. it must switch on. Vodacom offers R15000 on a contract. They reduce the monthly subscription over the contract term. Samsung trade in is amazing as they offer a guaranteed amount.
