Bought 1.5 lakh worth q80r tv 2019 model but cant get samsung's latest tv os upgrade. Why such injustice..? You expect consumer to buy again in 2020 who just bought a new tv. Why atleast a year old model cant get latest OS. I am totally dissatisfied by samsung's policy. Next time switching to Sony Android tv plus suggesting all my friends and family to go for android tv.
If an App store is available in Tizen OS, then it should be universal acrros any model, But Samsung is discriminating with special benifits for newer models and least bothered about old models....somewhere we should get this noticed to bigger forum so that Samsung can really care for customers views.
I am also regretting my decision to go with q80r instead of x950 or b9. Bixby is utterly useless. I don't think we ll be getting alexa or anything. Many apps are not there, can't side load them of course. Those apps are there, many of them just not as good as on fire stick or other os. No alternative browser either. Feeling cheated.
we need to highlight this by sharing more else samsung will keep taking undue advantage of loyal consumers. I tried on twitter but since I have no followers it could not reach to wider consumers. Any suggestions how we can make it big focus?
