we might get the adoptable storage option with the new andriod 9 update.

This option will only availabe for flagship series like s9 and note9. We are not 100% sure that we will get it but we can see this in beta phase so we might get it. It was dicover by a senior member of XDA developers. Note mid range and budget samsung phone will not get this option as per now.

as such there is no offcial announcement from samsung that means we will get the andriod 9 itself on January 2019
