Try not to expose it to direct sunlight till you visit the Samsung Service Centre. I had the same issue with my S8 and it was then told by the Samsung team that an update will be carried out to prevent background apps to start automatically.

not using in direct sunlight. still overheating I am worried that is same NOTE 7 issue.

I think we have lot of issues in S9Plus
better to wait till Sept till the new Apples are getting launched or buy another Android phone.
Seriously Samsung you need to work on your software and hardware issues in S9Plus.

may be check the charger. for my s7 edge i had to change the charger as i also faced same issue

Samsung replaced my motherboard
brought it home
now there is no network
fed up of going up and down the stores without solutions

if u using it for navigation while driving and charging....i suggest get a car mobile holder which attaches to car vents....the ac cool air will make it stay cooler
