generally you need to have two access permission prior to do this to any RCS based messanger

1. Storage access permission
2. Phone access permission

allow them from app permission settings


than click on the photo which you received via messanger and look for download or save options ( most of the time a three dot icon visible at top right for options)

facebook messenger. just click the photo and there will be the options look carefully ml. most times it will be a three dot icon on top panel of the app
