edge lighting is not showing when screen is off #s8

edge lighting feature is not working on my s8 when my screen is off. I just get the notification sound and vibration. Any suggestions to fix it

I did the basic steps to on it , it's still not showing when screen is off

It's works for my note 8 only for massages app and calls . but not for WhatsApp and other messaging apps
