WhatsApp Voice Notes Not Working – Tried Everything!

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing an issue with WhatsApp voice notes on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and I'm completely out of ideas on how to fix it.

The Issue:

I can't record proper voice notes on WhatsApp. No matter what I try, they either don’t record, sound distorted, or fail to send.

What I’ve Tried:

✔️ Deleted and reinstalled WhatsApp

✔️ Checked all software updates

✔️ Ensured microphone permissions are enabled

✔️ Checked network connection (WiFi & Mobile Data)

✔️ Cleared cache and storage

✔️ Restarted the phone multiple times

✔️ Tried using WhatsApp in Safe Mode

Possible Cause?

I am part of the WhatsApp Beta Program, so I’m wondering if this might be related to a beta update issue.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried to record anything in your recorder app?

Yes, I have - and it works perfectly.

I even tried the diagnostics test on the members app and everything checks out clear.

Then it is without a doubt an issue with your beta version. Need i remind you, beta versions are buggy and experimental versions that are used to improve on. I once had one that just used to crash anytime I tried to make a voice note. I advise you deregister for now that is and you can rejoin after a week

De-registered & reinstalled. It's still doing the same thing 😮. It almost sounds like radio interference.

Check on samsung store of that app shows that it's already installed on your phone or not and advise
