What is Samsung Security Policy Update?

I recently performed a factory reset on my Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and when I opened playstore to download all the required apps i found this app called "Samsung Security Policy Update". I saw it in the update section and it had an update. I didn't know what it was so i went down to read its reviews and was shocked to see the amount of negative reviews flooding the page. Some of them claimed that it was used for Planned Obsolescence and some even called it straight up " Spyware" (I have added some screenshots below). I was concerned about updating the app after reading the reviews. Can someone please give a clear picture on this?

Yes actually all these comments are true...even Technical Guruji uploaded a video regarding these....smartphone companies wants you to buy new devices after every alternate years that's why they do this to force you to buy a new phone and make your old phone a trash by injecting Spywares through updates and degrading your phone's performance.

Actually it's not only samsung, every brand is doing so except apple.but because of samsung's new update policy...these things are decreasing
