Dual VoLTE/nipoo @ Samsung Members

මේක Samsung relatedද කියලා අහනවනන් relate කරගන්නත් පුළුවන් relate කරගන්නේ නැතුව ඉන්නත් පුළුවන්. ඒත් ඔයාලාගේ ප්‍රයෝජනයට සහ දැනුමට මේක හොඳයි.

අපි දන්නවා 2G, 3G හා 4G කියන signal වර්ග 3 ලංකාවේ පාවිච්චි වෙනවා සහ 5G ගැන experiment කරගෙන යනවා කියලා. මේ article එක ‍‍‍යන්නේ VoLTE සහ ඒක active කරගන්න එක ගැන.

සමහරවිට ඔයා නොදැනුවත්වම ඔයාගේ simවලට VoLTE active වෙලා ඇති. ඒක check කරගන්න පුළුවන් Settings > Connections > Mobile networks එකේ sim එකේ network mode එක LTE/3G/2Gවලට දාලා VoLTE calls කියන option on කරලා බලන්න.

උඩින් VoLTE කියලා වැටෙනවා විතරක් නෙමේ Settings > About phone > Status > Sim card status කියන එකේ IMS registration status කියන එක Registered කියලා වැටිලා වැටෙනවා වැඩේ හරිනන්. මෙන්න මේ වගේ. එහෙම නැත්තන් පහලට කියවගෙන යන්න.

4G එහෙම නැත්තං LTE (Long-Term Evolution) හදලා තියෙන්නේ data communication speed කරන්න. ඒ කියන්නේ 4Gවල voice යන්නේ නෑ. ඔයාලා දැකලත් ඇති 4G හිටියත් call එකක් එනකොට signal 3G/2Gවලට මාරු වෙනවා.

පහුගිය දවස් ටිකේම ලංකාවේ mobile operatorsලට ආපු චෝදනාවක් තමයි signal අවුල් call ඇහෙන්නේ නෑ වගේ ඒවා. මේක ගැන Mobitel එකේ technical officer කෙනෙක් එක්ක කතා කරාම ඒ කෙනා මට මෙහෙම කිව්වා.

"අළුතින් tower ගහනකොට ඒවායින් දෙන්නේ 2G, 4G විතරයි. VoLTE active කරගෙන නැත්තන් ඒ call එක 3G වලට convert වෙනවා. එහෙම උනාම ඒ call එක යන්නේ ලඟම 3G තියෙන tower එකට. ඒ වෙලේ tower එකේ peek එක වැඩි උනාම calls අවුල් යනවා. ඒක නිසා customer care කතා කරලා VoLTE active කරගන්න."

මාත් කතා කරලා active කරගත්තා. දැන් එතකොට calls යනකොට signal 3G වෙන්නේ නෑ. 4Gවලම තියෙනවා. අනික HD call එකක් තමා යන්නේ. හරියටම කිව්වොත් Internet එක හරහා call එකක් යනවා වගේ. Crystal clear.

VoLTE දෙන්නේ දැනට Dialog, Mobitel විතරයි දන්න තරමින්. VoLTE නැත්තන් call කරලා active කරගන්න.

What about call quality with compared to Something like call via WhatsApp/Viber which also works on mobile data !☺
I think VoLTE doesn't directly impact on data🤔

අඩුයි. Battery 🔋 බහින එකත් අඩු වුණා. Call quality එකත් same or ඊට වඩා වැඩියි ද මන්දා.
