OthersIt's most certainly worth it, in my opinion, only if you're sure about rooting your phone and know what you're doing. 😄

OthersHow can I request a unlock code for S9+ SM-G965U1? Right now its looking like I will be returning this phone cause the bootloader can't be unlocked! I own the phone now, not Samsung. What give them the right to take OEM lock away, bunch of **bleep** control. Thought Samsung was on board with freedom!

OthersIs this post applicable to Samsung's latest offering, S20 FE 5G, in the US? Unlike the European versions, many US versions are notoriously difficult to bootloader unlock.
Though carrier and bootloader unlock are different subjects, if an S20 FE 5G is Samsung *FACTORY* carrier unlocked, can I assume its bootloader is therefore unlockable? If it is, where can I get the unlock code? Bestbuy, for example, is offering this phone with both carrier unlocked and locked versions, https://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?st=s20+fe&_dyncharset=UTF-8&_dynSessConf=&id=pcat17071&t...
Further, can I assume if a model is carrier locked, then the bootloader cannot be unlocked to enforce the carrier lock?
My objective is to root the phone and also install TWRP. I have no plans to switch my carrier, T-Mobile, and thus a model locked to T-Mobile is fine as long as its bootloader can be unlocked since a carrier-locked one is cheaper.
My understanding is S20 FE 5G is based on the Snapdragon processor. Some have claimed Snapdragon is impossible to unlock the bootloader, but I assume they mean you can't do it if Samsung doesn't allow it. Unfortunately, I simply can't find a Samsung site where they would give out bootloader unlock code for approved models.
