UPDATE FOR C9 Pro, J5-6, A5 2017, J7-6, J7 Prime, On NXT , On8

Today, after several request by the Samsung device users, they have finally released OS upgrades and updates!
• C9 Pro gets Android Nougat 7.1 update
• J5-6 (J5 2016) gets Android Nougat 7.1 update
• A5 2017 gets the October security patch
• J7-6 / On8 gets another bug fix (still couldn't figure out what it is but maybe the Video Call improvement)
• J7 Prime / On Nxt gets another update that fixes the Video Call, Automatic Full Brightness Problem and controlled screen flickering in these devices.

But interestingly these devices received most of the complaints about updates and hardware, and today in one flash Samsung released the updates for all those devices. (S Series users dont worry, Samsung has a bigger treat in store for you).
The updates may not have completely resolved the issue but it is clear that Samsung is listening to us and using this platform to its maximum for its customers.

So the thing Samsung only requires some patience and in return they provide , as S admin's say, "the best value for their products".

As far as Oreo upgrade is concerned more devices than before will get it! It is going to be another corner stone in Samsung's Galaxy Ecosystem!!

Try it
If still nothing happens, please post a scrolling screen shot of software information of your device from Settings!
Only then else can be done!
