Smartthings and Cameras

Hi

I am trying to set up a camera system that works with Smartthings (already have a few contact sensors and light operating very smoothly). I have purchased the Ring stick up camera (battery-powered). The camera does show in smartthings, but does not show video of the camera. It can log motion and thats about it. Do I need the hub for more function or is it a diffrent issue?

The camera in question is a Ring stick up cam, battery-powered. If you need a serial number I can provide that too.
