Why some people have 4g and some have volte written near signal icon. How to enable them. What is the difference.  Which is good.

Enable VoLTE Call in Settings Option
Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks

Its used for Better Quality calling !

It's not appearing in my s20 of airtel sim . Why ??

I guess 4G and Volte is kind of the same thing. I'm not sure about this though. 😅

Volte sign can be seen in devices that are using Jio sim and 4G sign can be seen in devices that are using other brand sim ( Airtel, Vi etc. )

VoLTE is known as Voice over LTE
4G quality of calling
And it's not only for Jio any company Sim who's network supports VoLTE that sign will appear in status Bar !

Devices that use latest gen networks appear as 4g/LTE. Both 4G and LTE support VoLTE that is just a faster and better way to call someone.
