Samsungs : RAM plus

Samsung's newest innovation has lead them to find a way to increase the RAM on the phone for free. This is obviously not a hardware implication, but done with software and its called RAM Plus.

• The first phone to get a taste of this is the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G. The update with firmware version A528BXXU1AUH9

• The update is currently being rolled out in India and as a result, its supposed to add 4GB extra virtual memory to the phone, which is great.

Hopefully more devices will receive updates and will be able to take advantage of this great feature.

The technology is old. First time Samsung themselves are doing it

Yeah probably because of storage speeds. With UFS 3.1+ there's enough read/write speeds to emulate ram on storage
