I saw a lot of users asking this question here on the community and other platform such as reddit that -

How to boot into Recovery Mode ? 

- So this change was brought with Android 11, now you'd need to plug the USB-C / micro-USB cable along with the combination buttons (Press & Hold the Power and Volume Up button) 

Quick Tip : It works even if you plug your USB-C earphones. 😅

Just the wire or a power source is also needed in case of USB cable?

I think just wired source, coz it works with USB-C earphones. So!

No, that might not be the case, because the earphones are getting power from the battery....guess we have to find out.
