Recently got a replacement card and I've been trying the past few days to sign it up and delete the old one. It's refusing. Talking about how I need to contact my provider. I never had to do that with the previous one. And by provider do they mean bank? What can the bank do in the situation? They have no control over the app

Yes, the bank is the provider. If the bank has not authorised online purchases on card then samsung pay won't be able to use card

Thanks for the insight. It just dawned on me that when I tried it last time it was after hours so maybe they bank couldn't verify because of that. Tried it again now and all seems to be well
