A new patent popped up on EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) by Samsung describing technology for lossless zoom called "Space Zoom". It's very likely that the feature will find its way to one or all of the upcoming Galaxy S11 smartphone(s) in February next year.
The report doesn't show full details of this patent but shows up a feature that says "Space Zoom" which is like Hybrid Zoom meaning Zooming on something without Losing any quality, it uses the real magnification from a proper telephoto lens and then applies digital zoom and possibly image stacking to let you go even closer without a significant drop in quality.
Let's wait till February to see if this comes out in S11 or not and how it actually work.
