Samsung has been rolling out the One UI 6.1 update to several Galaxy devices. While recent flagships received Galaxy AI features too, the One UI 6.1 is available for a wide range of phones and tablets. If your device is running One UI 6, the high chances are for the 6.1 iteration. The Galaxy S24 series launched pre-installed with One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI. Later on, the company announced two phases of Galaxy AI features distribution. The first phase included flagship devices launched in 2023, while the second included 2022 flagships.
Without an official announcement, Samsung started releasing the One UI 6.1 update to other Galaxy devices. Despite lacking nifty AI features, the new One UI version is a big deal for Galaxy users. Animations and transition effects are also optimized to offer a seamless user experience. One UI 6.1’s Galaxy AI features include Circle to Search, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translate, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Edit, Edit Suggestion, Instant Slow-Mo, Generative Wallpaper and Photo Ambient Wallpaper.
