Samsung has recently debuted a new module in the Good Lock service called Dropship. It lets users share files across platforms including Android, iOS and the Web. Since the Samsung Dropship is a part of Good Lock, the Galaxy Store is the only way to get it, and the version available on Play Store is f.a.k.e.

As covered by AndroidPolice, there’s a f.a.k.e version of the Samsung Dropship app is available on the Google Play Store. The listing has the same app icon as the official Dropship app and is currently in “early access” stage along with package name “com.samsung.dropship_client.”

The Play Store version of Dropship is unquestionably f.a.k.e as the developer and publisher of this app is entitled “Assert Studio.” The same account also published a handful of other shady apps such as the Nothing Ear app with negligible downloads.

The Dropship app is currently exclusive to South Korean consumers as Samsung is testing the app.
