Please re enable band selection mode

Band selection mode was a really helpful service,with that users were able to make their phones fixed to a partivular band which works in their area.But Samsung disabled it,now i am finding it difficult to use internet in some areas because my phone constantly changes to band which doesn't work in this area.I request Samsung to re enable this feature again.

Samsung disabled it internally,so these apps dont work now

It is working for S20fe5g. I am still able to change to NR only.

Yeah you cam change between 4g,5g,3g,2g etc.Every generation of wireless transmissions such as 4g,5g has different bands.Changing between bands is not available

Open netmonster. Tap on the 3 dots. Go to phone info. Go to set preferred network type. Select your preference

Here i can select only between 5g,4g 3g and 2g only.I am not talking about these.I want to change bands.

There is still possible to access the menus.

You need to install  Allinace Shild X from Play Store. Once you are registered and logged in:

 Open the App Manager.

Look for com.samsung.android.app.telephonyui and click on it.

Go-to Activities.

Scroll down to com.samsung.android.app.telephonyui.hiddennetworksettings.MainActivity.

Click on it and choose Open.

There is now everything you'll need.

 

NOTE: the app need Admin and Knox rights for this to work.

I know there are other workarounds,but anyway thanks for this. Still having it directly becomes a convenience,so i want Samsung to get it enabled in next update

It may not be enabled as lot of people change the band to some unsupported type by accidentally tapping on the wrong band as there is no warning. There is select radio band in netmonster. If you even accidentally tap USA, it will be rendering your phone useless and it will be very difficult even for experts to revert back to the defaults. Even experts have accidentally done this mistake.
