Signal employs a bunch of privacy focussed features include locking the app and the notifications after a certain amount of time. Its most likely these exact features that make it less prioritised by the automatic notification priority algorithm in Samsung even though I use the app a lot.

Kindly look into this issue because signal is an app that I use for personal communications and I'm guessing others using Samsung phones would have uses for Signal as well. It's frustrating to see the notifications having arrived almost an hour back and me not seeing it prioritised as much I want it to be. I want it at the top of my notification feed.

I was an ardent user of the earlier manual priority setting feature which allowed to assign higher priority to app notifications based on words or categories. But those have been removed in the last two years of updates making it so hard to put any level of notification priority changes other than the default one and the time based one.
