It may be due to message center number missing or different. So clear data and cache from message app. Remove SIM and then reset network settings. Again insert the SIM. Hope the issue will be resolved

Dear Samsung member,

Greetings from Samsung customer support.

We acknowledge your query and apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and will surely assist you regarding the same and please follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.

Note: If there is only one contact to whom you're unable to send or receive any text messages, the problem very likely lies with the network and not with your device. Please contact your network operator to see if they know of a solution.

1: If you're unable to send or receive any SMS (text) messages to any contacts, but your phone is perfectly functional, try checking your network operator's message center number stored in your device's settings. It is either missing or incorrect.

2: Check Message Center Number: Tap on Messages app >> Tap on More (three dots) >> Tap on Settings >> Tap on More settings >> Tap on Text messages >> Tap on Message Center >> Enter the correct Message center number and Tap on OK.

Note: Contact your service provider to get the correct message center number.

3: Clear the messaging app's data: Setting >> Apps >> Messages >> Storage >> Tap on clear data.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).

Thank you for writing to Samsung.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
