bro the infrared tech is now discontinued because today most of the TV are connect with wifi so sorry to say that modern TVs dont need the infrared tech they are now discontinued . even my TV is connect by wifi so it is easy to control the TV over wifi . that is far more better than infrared tech. and infrared tech needs to operate from a correct distance but if your wifi is connect to TV you can control the TV via smart things or by Google home. I use to control the TV via Google home. so sorry and I can control the TV when I am not on the room where the TV is there even I can control the TV by any room over wifi
