I understand your concern about not receiving the February software update and still being on the January security patch. It's definitely important to stay up-to-date with security updates to protect your device.

To help me understand the situation better, could you please provide the following information:

Your phone model: (e.g., Galaxy S23, Galaxy A54, etc.)

Your carrier: (e.g., Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, unlocked)

Your current software version: (Go to Settings > About phone > Software information > Build number. The last few characters often indicate the region and carrier.)

In the meantime, here are some general troubleshooting steps you can try:

Manually Check for Updates: Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Even if your phone is set to automatically check for updates, it's always a good idea to manually check.

Restart Your Phone: A simple restart can sometimes resolve issues that prevent updates from being installed.

Check Your Connection: Make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection or a strong mobile data connection. Software updates can be large and require a good connection to download properly.

Clear Cache Partition: This can help remove temporary files that may be interfering with the update process. To do this:

Turn off your phone completely.

Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button at the same time until the Samsung logo appears.

Use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Wipe cache partition" and press the Power button to select it.

Use the Volume buttons to navigate to "Yes" and press the Power button to confirm.

Once the cache partition is wiped, select "Reboot system now" and press the Power button to restart your phone.

Use Smart Switch on a Computer: Connect your phone to a computer and use the Smart Switch software to check for updates. Smart Switch can sometimes detect updates that are not available over-the-air.

Once I have the information about your phone model, carrier, and software version, I can investigate further and provide more specific advice. It's possible that the update is being rolled out in phases, and it may not be available for your device or region yet.

I'm very sorry to hear that you've already tried all the troubleshooting steps and your S24 Ultra continues to overheat, even after restarting. That definitely indicates a more serious problem.

Since you've exhausted the standard troubleshooting steps, I highly recommend contacting Samsung Support directly. This issue may require a more in-depth diagnosis or even a hardware repair.

You can contact Samsung Support through the following methods:

Samsung Members App: Open the Samsung Members app and look for the "Get Help" or "Contact Us" section.

Samsung Support Website: Visit the Samsung support website for your region and look for contact information.

Samsung Store: If you have a Samsung Store nearby, you can visit them for assistance.

When you contact Samsung Support, be sure to provide them with the following information:

Your phone model (S24 Ultra)

A detailed description of the problem (overheating even after restarting)

The troubleshooting steps you've already tried

The date you purchased the phone

Since your phone is still relatively new, it should be covered under warranty. Samsung Support will be able to assess the issue and determine the best course of action, which may involve a repair or replacement.
