The S23 Ultra heating and battery drain issues after the update are frustrating problems that many users have reported. It's possible that the update has introduced some bugs or inefficiencies that are causing these issues.

*Potential Causes and Solutions*

- *Overheating*: One possible cause of overheating is the usage diagnostics feature. Try turning it off to see if it makes a difference.
- *Battery Drain*: To address battery drain, try adjusting your settings to reduce power consumption. You can also try factory resetting your phone, but be sure to back up your data first.
- *Software Issues*: If you've recently updated your software, it's possible that there are some bugs or glitches causing these issues. Try checking for any further updates or reporting the issue to Samsung support.

*Additional Tips*

- *Monitor Your Battery Usage*: Keep an eye on your battery usage to identify any apps or features that are consuming excessive power.
- *Adjust Your Settings*: Make sure your settings are optimized for power efficiency. You can also try reducing the screen brightness or turning off unnecessary features.

If none of these solutions work, it may be worth contacting Samsung support directly for further assistance.

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your query, we want to inform you that Samsung devices may heat up while charging, especially if you use a fast charger or use the device while charging. Use the original charger that came with the device and avoid third-party chargers or cables. However, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

● Galaxy device heating issue: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/why-the-device-heats-up-during-use/

● Galaxy device Battery drain issue: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/how-can-i-optimise-and-extend-the-battery-life-on-...

● Update device software (If available): Settings > Software update > Download and install > Checking for software update > Software update available > Download > Downloading updates > Install now.

● You can reset your device by following the steps.
1. Kindly create a data backup of your device via the SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
2. Remember the Google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
3. If you do not remember then advise to reset (Forgot password) his/her Google account.

Path: Settings> General Management.>Reset>Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup>After backup tab on Factory data reset to reset your device to its factory default settings.
This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps.

If the issue persists, kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send.)
