Hey guys,
What is your opinion about this whole situation we are stuck in right now? The whole samsung being hacked by lapsus?
Samsung says it's all ok, but lapsus says otherwise, itseems they have got the most vital information from samsung! Starting with source code for the bootloader, biometric authentication systems on Galaxy devices, samsung pass, code from knox and few source code related to operation of the galaxy device. My question is! Is it safe to use samsung anymore?
How is samsung going to handle this when their source code is out in the wild? Many may argue that android itself is open sourced and its all good. Yes, i agree and i know that. But but the source code for knox and the galaxy device arent. What if a malicious hacker trys to find a vulnerability and make use of it?

There is absolutely nothing to worry about. Just having the source code doesn't mean that its game over for Samsung. Users should not be concerned with this data breach because no personal data from anyone was taken. Also they won't be able to replicate Samsung's software systems just by having access to the source codes. A simple change in security algorithms can turn tables. So chill! 😌

Also expect major security updates for most devices real soon!
