Fingerprint not working

Hello, my fingerprint sensor is not working on my Samsung A52.

It keeps saying fingerprint operation/sensor is cancelled or not working or something.

I went to settings to see if i could re-do my fingerprints, it keeps saying that there is an error and that i should restart the phone.

And I did. Several times...

Still not working, my WhatsApp also has the same fingerprint lock and I havent been able to lock on it since yesterday morning.

Please help

No it was the same, but i accidentally dropped it in water

I think it should hve been damaged during screen repair

Mine did too ,Today It falled through rocks & I did try that but nothing happend
