Files auto deleted on renaming the folder

Have renamed a folder but this deleted all the pdf files within that folder. Any ways to recover the files

download file recovery app from play store if it is worked then fine otherwise you have to buy some premium recovery tool for computer

msd file recovery only helps for audio image and video files i need pdf docs so it didnt work. i am yet tl try with computer
