I previously shared on this forum that contacts which were in my recentl (folder), both fir messages and viice calls, got deketed after after l installed the latest update for Android 11 and have to restore them one by one.
Now l have just discovered that any contacts which were not in the recent folder that time abd therefore survived, get deleted as soon as l use them for making or receiving calls or messages. Again l have to restore them one by one. However, any contacts added post uodate remain

Looks like Samsung have issued another Android update that has fixed this problem. I saw a message in my phone that there us a new Android update, and l bargained that sunce this problem has been reported on this forum, Sansum must have addressed it in this update and l was right. After the update l noticed that contacts l had recently used and were in recent folder were still intact. After the previoua Android update that resulted in loss of recently used contacts l noticed that all numbers in recent folders were appearing without any names or description
