Yesterday (i.e. 12/10/2018) I received and update on my Galaxy J6. After updating the phone each time I unlock my phone the brightness either go increases or decrease from the previous condition.

it is optimising according to ur use i think and i also use j6 and for me it acts like auto brightness sensor but after update ther is bug in lockscreen stories ! u ll see the clock and face detection icons merging
