Battery issue after Whatsapp Latest Update

Few days back i got an update from whatsapp, i really don't knos what was that. After installing those updates i feel my S8+ battery drain very fast. 

What was that? I there any solution to avoid such thing to be happen?

Keep check on all the apps Which u are not using and they are consuming battery uninstall them or disable them or put them to always sleep from settings-device manger

shukriya.. Wo updates kia thi muje pata b nahi chala. i to kar dia. ap mobile battery pehle se ziada consume ho rahi hai. ab new updates i to nahi karta.

new update mobile is available in 5 inch 6 or above is very big for me
