Hello Community members,

I am recently facing battery drain issues with my Note 10+ device, I have noticed that there is an application that is always running in the background which is called Media Storage and I have disabled the app to run in the background but despite that, it keeps running in the background and drains the battery super quick. Any suggestions?

 

I have a Samsung galaxy watch as well paired with the phone all the time.

Launch your Settings and select Device Care > Battery

2 Now change in below options:
Power Mode - Choose Right power mode and enable Adaptive power saving
App power management - Enable Adaptive Battery & Put unsed apps to sleep

Please bring the device to a Samsung Service Center to have it checked out by a technician.

I had resolved the issue by resettling the phone after backing up all the data, now the battery is back to normal and performing in a good condition.

I lost my Samsung members account but it's all good so far. The problem was due to an unexpected application which was running in the background couldn't identify app was that so the reset has fixed the issue.
