it depents not to the specs but the samsung update policy which is 2 years. galaxy 2017 A series came with android 6 out of the box and already got 2 major nougat and oreo updates, so i think it's not possible to get pie. 2017 J series came with nougat out of the box and they are eligable for pie update.
