Android is now developing the new android ( P ) 9.0 and still lots of samsung devices didn't even get the android 8.0 oreo update such as Galaxy S7 edge

Correct....Samsung is not taking it seriously...forget about Oreo...there is no security updates since Oct 2017

I've just read an article about security patches from Samsung via Publishing website (I forgot which site). And according to Samsung there are devices that receives monthly patches (high ends mostly) and there are also devices that receives quarterly security patches (mid range and below). I'm not on the side of Samsung with this, I too am a user, also waiting. Samsung's developers are working hard (but very slow) to make their ecosystem experience is well executed.

But most new features on new android version already exist on galaxy series right? Sometimes samsung are ahead with this but on the side note, Security should always be on top priority.
