I purchased a J6 few months back and was pretty happy with it. But things started going wrong
Often, I won't be able able to authenticate with PIN or finger-print and have to make repeated attempts. Also screen refresh lag became visibly annoying. Assuming, it was due to some apps, I uninstalled many apps, restricted background processes. Also used device maintenance frequently to free up resources, optimize. None helped.
Finally, I reset the phone and things are fine again. Even after getting applications installed from backup after reset, phone works perfectly without authentication issue or screen refresh lag.
Wondering if it's got to do something with lower priced samsung smartphone or Android Oreo ? Some samsung users say it's due to Oreo and resetting phone clean-up cache, which solves the problem.
Resetting is cumbersome and wastes time. Can samsung look into it and fix the issue in next Oreo update ?

There is a way to clear cache partition, at least there was a way in S8, so you can actually Google it. As per my experience Samsung low end phone are not that great and I never suggest anyone to buy those phone
