Hello Samsung team and all of Samsung members, how are you?
I have a queries about charging my Samsung device. I have charged my device since 11 hours. When I was put my phone in charge, the charge level was in about 7%. I was forget to switch off the charger. When I was put out phone from charger, the charging had been full. And the phone had been overcharging from a long time. Hi buddy. We r fine thanks.. Yes. Over charging by mistake for long time, damages the battery soon. And voltage fluctuations damages the device board. So please b careful. Watch wen it's put to charge!!!

Over charging a Lithium battery is a thing of the past. Latest devices have inbuilt circuit to protect the battery.

Anyhow keeping a Lithium battery on 100% continuously will degrade the battery faster. It's okay to forget switching off the charger but don't do it daily basis.

No the device and battery are absolutely fine. All devices are designed to stop charging when the reach 100% so no question of overcharging. So don't worry at all :)
