AOD (Always On Display) feature requires additional equipment in the mobile phone, and this feature is not available only through software update.

It just require oled display. That's it. However LG have it without oled

right lg gives it on g6 which have IPS display😂😂. samsung has written that they had reduced power consumption of AOD by introducing software named as smart power saving which decrease refresh rate decrease pixels and keep the screen which is not in use to black colour. well smart power saving software+AOD needed.

and why should all get AOD? why shouldn't premium phone owners get exclusive features. why should I pay 60k for a phone if 10k phone also has same feature? I can live with few lags if I am getting all features and save 50k. J series people are fool to demand these and they neither will nor should get it.

toh BC le le wahi.. kyun yahan wahan apni Gaand marwa rha hai ? S8 aur J7 ka AOD ka difference jis chutiye ko pata hi nahi.. usse kya baat karni. BKL har post pe bheek maang na band kar . Sadak pe maang isse better.. paise milenge toh S8 Note 8 le liyo.

those giving logic that Apple gives same software to all their phones. For those fools - Apple 5S which got iOS 11 was a flagship once. U too ho for S7 or Note 5. u will get most of it. Even Apple differentiates between Plus and regular model. Apart from hardware, regular models get fewer software goodies than Plus. So stop fooling urself and of u want everything, stand in premium line.
