My battery backup doesn't last long. I'm just waiting for the updates to fix it. Why does the battery drain so fast? The part around the camera bump also heat quickly. Help!!

i charged my phone morning 9 am . till 7 pm my battery discharge only 55% still 45 % left.

check for the apps that are draining your battery and check whether the charging conditions are good

is the device heating up while charging? or does it take long enough to charge ur device?

Yes I am facing the same issues after Jan patch. Previously I got 9 hrs of SoT, but now only 8 hrs SoT fron 100 to 0...Also there is a little bit of heating issues. Hope Samsung will fix this soon

The heating is mainly around the camera area

If you face any problem after January update then disable Google app, clear data of Bixby, this will fix your battery draining issue. if you still face the problem then backup your data and do a factory reset.
