I got the screen of my Samsung Galaxy M52 5G replaced forfree.
I had this problem with my M52 last yeardue the software update of security patch level August 1. I'll be visiting the service center tomorrow to get my phone.
Before trying to get your screen replaced for free, make sure that your phone does not have any dent or physical damage. They just don't want any dents although this is entirely about their manufacturing problem(software update).
If your phone does not have any dent, you're good to go!
Raise your concern on the consumer court, i.e. National Consumer Helpline. Download the App from Play Store and click New Grievance to file a complaint. After submitting the grievance, you will receive a call from Samsung within the next day or two after having submitted your grievance.
You must mention strong points while writing about the details. Mention that this is a manufacturing issue as it happened after a software update.
Before writing your grievance, make sure that you visit the service center and get a job sheet number for your device regarding this issue. After that, download National Consumer Helpline app from play store and create a grievance. Do all of these within 30 days after you generate a job sheet number since the job sheet number is available for 30 days only and you'll have to get a new one if things are not done on time. While filling the grievance form, leave Service Tag field empty. That's all I remember about filling the grievance form.
I hope that everyone gets their screens replaced for free as this is not our fault. It's Samsung's fault, and they must deal with it. They chose not to make an official announcement like OnePlus did, so here we are complaining directly through the Consumer Court.

"I'm experiencing a display issue after the recent software update . A persistent green line has appeared on my screen, which is distracting and affecting my ability to use my device. The line is vertical and located at the middle and left side of the screen. I've tried restarting my device, but the issue persists. I'm using a [SM-M526B/DS] with the latest software version. I've also tried adjusting the display settings, but the issue remains. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this issue, as it's impacting my productivity. Please let me know if there's a software patch or update available to fix this problem."
