Why do I have LTE² on my phone?

This is volte ,you have volte supported sim in slot 2 .That's why volte is showing 2. Your friend have neither volte supported device nor volte supported sim .so .................................................

Yes ...it's only shows for 2nd sim network...that's y show volte2

It's normal if your sim supports dual 4g volte on both the sims then it will show volte1 and volte2 for the slots respectively. If you interchange the sims the result will be the same. If you put BSNL in any of the slots, then it won't show volte1 or volte2 according to the slot you choose. Here's in my case both of my sims are 4g and my handset also supports dual 4g volte.
