Most of your phones in budget segment remain very low in performance .Antutu ranges from 3-7 lakh.How can you say sitting on todays date that we will give 5 year updates.You know yourself after 3 years itself there will be hardly users left.
I have used my galaxy F23 5G now for an year and 8 months.On performance terms its simply finished today .When this can happen to a phone with SD processor,what about your already far below exynos ones
No. It is marketing strategy of Samsung. Because according to their policy 2019 or later models are supported with 3 OS update and minimum 4 years of security patch update. But they make fool of customers for sell of their smartphones. Because i am user of M02(SM-M022G). Which is launched in 2021 but there is not any support of android 12 till now.
The only reason i see they can not abide by the promise is because of keeping low power processors in midrange .They can overcome this by atleast choosing a latest processor at time of launch.Instead if i take example of galaxy F23 5G they got it with SD 750G.This was launched near July 2023.While the first mobile that came with same used processor was in 2020 and was a motorola based one with name Moto G 5G.So they decided to use firstly a three year old processor and then giving promise of 4 years updates to enduser.Imagine the extent of cheating and nuisance going with this brand.I am sorry TRAI is just sleeping to let door open in India for such brands.Our indian brands like lava then remain still better for us.I give a no heed to their good features. Today they have lost the game of providing good processing power.
