S20 plus lagging after April 2021 Update

Hey, I've been using s20 plus for past 6 months now and after april 2021 security update it started lagging a lot. It's not working smoothly the animations are choppy and phone is over heating. Suggest me ways to sort this out.

Did you ever experience lag and choppy frames in normal usage of phone? I need to restart it at times to make it smooth for few minutes and then it goes back to being slow.

To be frank, it have exynos 990 processor, so u know its good at being laggy and slow now and then

Not normal lag it's there the whole time.

how do you get april 2021 update...mine still at march 2021 update..i even checked it manually and no update is available

I just had a notification saying there's an update 4-5 days back and since that update my phone started lagging.

Tried resetting settings and wiped cache partition. Thanks for the info though!✌
