You can use Google account to unlock Samsung. Make sure you are connected. Another way is by logging onto findmymobile.samsung.com

Once your device is Unlock get it checked at an Authorised store to ensure there is no fault with the Fingerprint Sensor

ITs not possible.
If Fingerprints Sensor won't work then it will Definitely Ask for Pattern or password whichever you chose.

and FYI let me bring to you in notice that J7 prime Fingerprints sensor is so bad. Its always disappointing.
