Lagging when playing codm

When I play codm my screen freezes how to play stable is there some tips to get fast performance when playing  (device a72 ram 8gb storage 128 processor snapdragon 720 G)

8Gb RAM is sufficient for your gameplay. Your processor may not be able to handle graphics at very high settings. What happens is, the processor becomes overworked as a result of high graphics and it overheats. As a safety mechanism, the processor will throttle its output and we feel it as "lag".

Restart ur device just before gameplay, that way ur processor is fresh and can take more of a workload. Also, I suggest investing in a mobile radiator. Its a fan that u clip to the back of your phone and it dissipates heat. I have made a post about it, let me know if u wanna see it, I'll post the link as a comment. I got it off Aliexpress. It helped me play longer without lagging.
