With the release of Android 12 last year, Google introduced Game Dashboard which offers some valuable features for those playing games on their phone. The feature was limited to Pixel users, meanwhile, Samsung seems to be bringing Google Game Dashboard to Galaxy devices through the Android 13 update.

Actually, Google has confirmed to bring its Game Dashboard feature to more smartphones through Play Services. Although the US tech giant didn’t clearly mention that Galaxy phones are some of them, it’s obvious as Samsung is one of the OEMs that better adapt the Google features and services.

Spotted by AndroidPolice, this adaptation was announced as part of Google System Updates that state:

“[Phone] Game Dashboard lets you choose longer battery life or higher performance, block out calls and notifications when playing, access Play Games achievements, and more. Available on select devices running Android T.”

This changelog clearly mentions “select devices running Android 13 (T)”. It means that some of the Samsung Galaxy phones and other non-pixel phones will get the Google Game Dashboard as soon as they receive the Android 13 update.

At this time, it can’t be clarified which Samsung phones will get the Google Game Dashboard. However, it looks like it will be limited to phones with good-performance chipsets.

Google Game Dashboard
Game Dashboard is Google’s attempt to improve the gaming experience on Android. It lets you quickly access performance settings adjustments, live stream your gameplay via YouTube, take screenshots with a tap, view your Google Play achievements, and disable notifications.

Another key feature integrated into Game Dashboard is the ability to use performance profiles. Also, you can pick between two game modes, such as Performance mode to increase frame rate or Battery saver mode to extend your gaming session.
