Why is Air Drop is only available in S26 series???

The AirDrop-style Quick Share feature is currently limited to the Samsung Galaxy S26 series running Android 16 with One UI 8.5, but Samsung plans to expand it soon, with Galaxy S25, S24, and the latest Z Fold/Flip models expected to receive it in April or May 2026, followed by the S23 and S22 series by June once available, users will need Google Play Services v26.11 or newer and the latest Quick Share app (v13.8.51.30+) to enable the Share with Apple devices option in settings.

Samsung plans to gradually expand this functionality to other devices:
Galaxy S25, S24, and the latest Z Fold/Flip models: Expected rollout in April–May 2026.
Galaxy S23 and S22 series: Expected rollout in June 2026.
