Issue On the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, the bottom menu bar in Samsung Gallery — (Pictures / Albums / Stories / Search / Menu) — may disappear.
This usually happens when the phone is folded while the Gallery app is open, especially when viewing Search, Documents, or AI-Edited sections. The app switches layout and the menu no longer appears. It seems a UI / layout bug in One UI Gallery on Fold devices.
🟢 Solution (Fix) Unfold the Z Fold fully Open the Samsung Gallery app The bottom menu bar will re-appear You can fold the device again and the menu stays visible Unfolding forces the Gallery app to refresh the screen layout, which restores the normal view.
💡 Temporary Workarounds (if it happens again) Unfold → open Gallery → switch to Pictures → fold again Or Force close Gallery → reopen it Or restart the phone✔️
Status This seems to be a software bug, not a hardware problem. Sharing this may help other Fold users until Samsung provides a Gallery / One UI update.
